Ukraine Association of Biobank received a full license for human tissue.

In 2018, Ukraine Association of Biobank became the first private and academic stem cell bank to receive a full license for human tissue (Ministry of Health of Ukraine). The MHU is the competent authority in the Ukraine in accordance with the EU directives on tissues and cells responsible for licensing the storage of human tissue. Anyone who stores human tissue and cells for therapeutic and research use must have a license from MHU.
