Stem, Immune and Cells line
Simplify Stem and Immune Cell Sample Procurement
Gain access to a growing network of providers for fresh and cryopreserved hematologic samples from a large collective population of both healthy and diagnosed donors.
The UA Biobank offers hematologic tissue containing hematopoietic and mesenchymal stem and immune cells prospectively collected from Europe donors according to ISO 20387 and IRB requirements. Establishing cell lines from tissue and blood:
- Fibroblasts, endothelial, smooth muscles and epithelial cellular cultures from biopsy
- Lymphoblasts of transformed Epstein-Barr virus
- Buffy’s isolation and cryopreservation (mononuclear peripheral blood cells)
- The expansion of cell lines for distribution, maintenance of the reserve, molecular and cytogenetic analysis
- Assessment of quality control of existing cell lines
- Detection of pollution of mycoplasma
- Non -ended storage of plasma, serum and other biosamples.
- Controlled access to samples and related data
- Excessive reserve generators
- User cell banking
Offering more choices for donor attributes such as blood type, HLA type, body mass index (BMI), gender, age, race, ethnicity, and smoking (tobacco, vape or THC).
