The second day of the 11th National Biobank Symposium in Berlin starts with a very moving report from Svetlana Gramatyuk (Ukraine Association of Biobanks).

She spoke about the evacuation of a biobank from Kharkiw to Graz and #biobanking in wartime: shifting from usual research purposes to storing biological material after sexual assault or DNA for post-mortem identification.
